For the INFINITI Q50 / Skyline RV37, a dual layout that introduces a new expression-without denying what has already been proven.

While fully inheriting the philosophy and aesthetic integrity of the TYPE-R Single, this dual exhaust configuration was re-envisioned to suit the RV37 platform as a modern sports sedan.

The result is a carefully reconstructed solution that brings together strength and balance, presence and refinement-creating a new form of identity that stands alongside the single, not against it.

TYPE-D - Redefining Dual Exhaust Performance
After extensive prototyping and rigorous testing, the TYPE-D Dual Full Titanium Exhaust System was completed. At its core lies the same philosophy that defines TOMEI: Function over Form.

TYPE-D achieves significant weight reduction while delivering ideal exhaust balance, allowing the V6 engine's character to emerge with greater clarity, sharpness, and unmistakable titanium presence.

Sound, Philosophy, and Material - The Answer Chosen by TYPE-D
The sound produced by TYPE-D is what we call the Force of Titanium Note. At idle, it delivers a calm, controlled low-frequency tone. Under throttle, a dry and crisp mid-range emerges, transitioning seamlessly into a sharp, clean high-end note at higher RPMs-true to the V6 character.

This is not a system designed around volume or aggression alone. It is tuned as an instrument, engineered to respond naturally to engine speed, throttle input, and driver intent.

While stainless steel remains a practical and effective material, TOMEI chose titanium for this project for a clear reason. Reduced mass improves overall vehicle balance, sharpens response, and enhances the sense of lightness that drivers can feel behind the wheel.

After fully engaging with the RV37 platform, titanium proved to be the most honest and natural solution-one that allows the inherent quality of the INFINITI Q50 / SKYLINE (RV37) to shine through without excess.

This kit includes all the components necessary for installation including the bolts and nuts.Bolt Smooth Paste is also included to help prevent the bolts becoming seized under heat.

Features:
- Original Titanium Material - Sourcing our own raw materials allows us to significantly improve quality whilst also keeping the price low. In addition, having complete control over the raw materials and manufacturing process is what allows us to produce high quality products at an affordable price.
- Tail Pipe - Made from Titanium material to 115mm diameter and 1mm thick piping. Straight cut designed and finished for race use. Finished off with the EXPREME Ti logo laser etched on the tip with the Titanium gradation blue colours.
- Clamp Band - This clamp design is much stronger than the conventional flange and bolt type. It secures the pipe in place and can keep an airtight fixture whilst still being able to cope with the high heat, the stress loads and the vibrations that it will endure.
- Silencer Case - This part is made from Titanium with the pipe size of 152mm and 1mm thickness. The oversized shell design optimizes exhaust gas flow which helps with power gains. Then with the embossed Tomei logo and beautiful heat gradation colouring gives it the finishing touch that you'd expect.
- Punched Mesh - Made entirely from Titanium of 1mm thickness and with the open slot ratio of 32.6%. With the combination of light weight Titanium material, the high flow design delivers a really nice racing exhaust sound.
- Glass Wool - The long fiber wool threads were adopted for the silencer. This type has proven to last longer than the traditional fiberglass materials even over a longer period of time with extensive high temperature exposure both at high and low pressures.
- Connecting Springs - The pipes are connected together with the use of the hook and spring design. This allows the pipe with some movement to help absorb vibrations. The hook springs alone is sufficient enough to hold the pipes together. However you will get the best secured pipe joints when using the clamp band and the springs together.
- Precision Welds - Titanium is known to be difficult to weld but with our experienced methods we are able to achieve the best results with strength, durability and quality in finish. With the use of the right equipment, attention to details to yeild the best results you would expect.
