Description
Planted Reinforcement Plate is recommended when installing a harness in a non-factory location. Reinforcing a harness mount point is essential when the location has not been engineered by the auto manufacturer. Any time you mount a harness to sheet metal, you will need to put a reinforcement plate under it to keep it from ripping out of the floor. The Planted Reinforcement Plate uses a 7/16" - 20 nut welded all the way around to an 1/8" thick piece of steel measuring 2" x 3" and then powder coated black.
