- KW 7 Post Driving Dynamic Test
Using the Nordschleife as the testing grounds and data collected from our KW 7-post Driving Dynamic Test Center, KW developed it's 3-way Clubsport coilover kit. Wheel loads, vehicle weight and chassis reinforcements (increased body stiffness) can all be taken into consideration with the TVR-A & TVCLH-A valve technology and adjustment capabilities of the 3-way Clubsport. Similar to KW Competition 3-way coilovers, low-speed and high-speed compression adjustment is achieved by utilizing with the controls on the external reservoir.
Specifically Engineered Setup – Vehicle specific with independently adjustable rebound, high and low speed compression.
Similar to the KW Competition suspension used in international motorsports, the KW 3-Way Clubsport coilover kit allows fine tuning of the compression damping separately in the low-speed and high-speed range. The click adjustments of the TVCLH-A valve technology make for easy adjustment directly on the reservoir. You can modify the low-speed compression damping with 6 precise clicks with the purple low speed adjustment dial and directly beneath it the golden adjustment wheel provides an additional 14 precise clicks of high speed compression adjustment. In addition, the TVR-A technology provides 16 clicks to noticeably adjust the rebound damping independently of the compression damping. If you would like to adjust the KW 3-Way Clubsport coilover kit it can easily be adjusted for more comfort or to an alternative setup for a new race track. The KW 3-Way Clubsport benefits from the same motorsports technology that has proven its endurance with multiple overall wins at the ADAC Zurich 24h Nürburgring race.
TVR-A Technology:
The two-stage, patented TVR-A (Twin Valve Rebound - Adjustable) technology enables a small volume of oil to flow through an adjustable, conically shaped, low-speed bypass during low damper speeds, while in the case of higher damper speeds, the main rebound stage valve opens allowing a larger volumn of oil to flow. This provides a big improvement in terms of ride comfort without influencing the safety-relevant high-speed range. There are 16 precise clicks available for individual settings, so you can choose between more comfort or more body control.
TVCLH-A Technology:
With 6 precise clicks in low-speed and 14 precise clicks in high-speed range of the compression damping, the cross-sections in the KW 3-Way clubsport valves are decreased or increased, in order to achieve either more or less compression damping. The TVCLH-A (Twin Valve Compression Low High - Adjustable) technology has an engineered blow-off characteristic providing a large cross-section that allows substantial low-speed forces to provice optimum support of the vehicle body without unsettling the body in the case of sudded high damper stimulation induced by the wheels, like driving over apex curbing. The separate low and high-speed settings are always supplied with an additional rebound setting utilizing TVR-A technology for a truely independent 3-way damper setup.
Continuous Ride Height Adjustment
With KW Clubsport coilovers you can achieve maximum lowering within an approved lowering range that ensures a proper functioning suspension with adequate travel after your car is lowered. Even after years of use you can easily adjust the ride height thanks to the dirt resistant trapezoid thread and composite adjustment collar.
The Benchmark for Coilovers
As with all KW coilovers our engineers develop vehicle specific damper and spring specifications which undergo comprehensive testing on the Nürburgring Nordschleife and in our KW 7-post Driving Dynamic Test Center. With a KW Clubsport coilover kit the driving experience is more dynamic and direct.
You are not buying a mass produced, generic coilover kit, a KW coilover has been developed specifically for your particular vehicle. As a manufacturer, KW uses only its own resources, high quality components and the damper technology that has all developed in-house. With the KW Clubsport coilovers, rolling motion of the body will be reduced during compression giving you the benefit of more direct handling and confidence while driving.
Our experience means your driving pleasure
