Description

NOTE: Immediately after installing the brake pads, the pad and rotor aren't hot, so braking force is reduced until it reaches temperature. Please be sure to run the brakes thoroughly.

The flagship model of the HC series, covering everything from city riding to sports driving. In addition to the linear effect of pedal control, it provides exceptionally stable braking power in high temperature ranges. In addition, it is finished with specifications that suppress dust as much as possible among graphite metal materials.

Reliably Eliminates Dust Generated By Intense Friction
When the substances contained in the friction material of the brake pads burn due to high temperatures, gas is generated, which interferes with the effectiveness of the brakes in the gap between the pads and the rotor. This is called a fade phenomenon. A slit placed in the center of the brake pad efficiently discharges gas and pad residue, maintaining stable braking power.

Chamfer Cut To Suppress Unpleasant Squeals

Project Mu's brake pads are pre-heat treated, which burns out unnecessary materials that are only needed during manufacturing, thereby reducing the generation of gases that can cause fade. After purchasing, you can use it with confidence just by completing the instructions.

Strong Back Plate To Prevent Distortion
The performance required of the back plate is that it can withstand the powerful pressure of the piston and not distort. If it becomes distorted, the abrasive material may peel off and cause a serious accident. Normally, steel is used for the back plate, but Project Mu uses a steel plate that is 20% stronger than the original product, ensuring sufficient strength.
