The T1R 70R-EM Sparrow Dual Exhaust for the Honda S2000 is now back in stock and ready to ship. The current version has blue gradient tips. This has been one of our most popular exhaust systems and is sure to sell out fast. Both this and the single versions have produced the most power for the S2000 we’ve seen to date.
Enkei is bringing back the popular J-Speed, reviving a true classic wheel associated with the heydays of import car tuning. The J-Speed offers a timeless classic design that never gets obsolete.
Staying true to its roots, Enkei offers the legendary J-Speed in 15 x 7″ and 15 x 8″ with offsets ranging from ET25 to ET38. The 4 x 100 bolt pattern allows for fitment on many import cars from the 1980’s through today. All versions of the J-Speed will come with a polished deep with an original retro design center cap. This wheel offers import enthusiasts genuine old school feel with superior performance that imitators cannot match.
Voltex has started re-designing the aero kit for the Honda S2000. Nakajima-san, the founder of Voltex, has decided to make a street version (shown above) and also a circuit version (shown below) with more aggressive aerodynamics of the front splitter. Canards have also been added for more downforce with minimal drag. It’s been a long wait since the prototype was tested, but we’re excited to see the outcome of the final product. We’re sure it will be well worth it.
Formula DRIFT at Road Atlanta was a great event. The crowd was as enthusiastic as we’ve ever seen one. Unfortunately, our team ran into some minor issues. During practice, Charles Ng was clipped by another driver and one of the front control arms snapped. Our staff was up late all night fixing the issue. Much thanks to Ron Bergenholtz and Bergenholtz Racing and Kevin Wells of Team NOS for their help.
Luckily, Charles still qualified for the competition. Charles Ng went heads up against Ken Gushi. Gushi won the first lap, but Charles made a great run during the second. It was suspensfully close. The crowd wanted them to go one more time, but the judges made the final decision with Gushi winning and moving from the top 32 to the top 16. Here’s video footage of the matchup.
Congratulations to Dai Yoshihara for taking first place at Atlanta. We’ll be going to West Palm Beach for Round 3, so join in on the fun and come cheer on Charles Ng and our team! If you’re in the pits, please stop by and say hi to Charles and check out his Mazda FC RX-7.
