Evasive Motorsports Scion FR-S breaks the minute barrier at Tsukuba circuit!

The Evasive Motorsports FR-S, driven by Robert Walker, completed a laptime of 59 seconds at “ATTACK” time attack event at Tsukuba Circuit, Japan. We fortunately became the first US tuning shop to compete at a time attack event at Tsukuba!

Tsukuba is a very short but technical track, so we spent much of the week leading up to the event testing the FR-S; changing our alignment settings, gear ratios, differential, and even re-tuning the car to run on 110 Octane HKS drag racing fuel. We gained alot of knowledge of that track, and we hope to return one day to go even faster.

We’d like to give a special thanks to HKS Japan, HKS Technical garage, and Rasty for all the support during our stay.

New Maverick Series – 709M & 710S

Weds Wheels has released a couple new wheels for their 2015 line, the Maverick 709M and 710S! These are a classic, yet sportier design that are a two-piece construction wheel which allows for offset customization and can be set in 1mm increments within the allowable range.

The 709M and 710S features extra brake clearance and custom offset sizing to better suit a customers specific needs. The 709M classic 9-cross design was inspired by the Weds 3-Piece Kranze E.R.M, which is a JDM favorite and the 710S is another classic 10-spoke wheel with a hint of modern Japanese design. They will both be available in 18″, 19″ and 20″ with a reverse lip or step lip.

From now til February 28th 2015, an order for a set of four will receive a free set of Maverick 7075 T6 Forged Aluminum Lug Nuts!
