An unfortunate setback ends our 2026 Pikes Peak ca

An unfortunate setback ends our 2026 Pikes Peak campaign. During testing this week, the car was involved in an accident and sustained irreparable frame damage, making it impossible to continue the competition safely. As a result, we have made the decision to withdraw from this year's Pikes Peak International Hill Climb.

Thank you to everyone who has supported and followed our journey. We are thankful that everyone is safe, proud of what we accomplished during development and testing, and excited to turn our focus toward the next challenge ahead. Stay tuned.

Productive day of testing at Glen Cove on Pikes Peak. The middle section is where the IONIQ 5 N really shines, using instant torque and rapid acceleration to attack the fast switchbacks and technical sections of the course.

Tomorrow we move up the mountain to test the upper section. The countdown to race day continues.

Introducing our 2026 Pikes Peak International Hill

Introducing our 2026 Pikes Peak International Hill Climb challenger: the Evasive Motorsports x ENEOS Hyundai IONIQ 5 N.

Building upon last year’s success, we’ve refined the aero package, suspension, and numerous other details in pursuit of even greater performance on the mountain.

With Robert Walker once again behind the wheel, our goal is simple: a full run to the summit and a shot at breaking the 10-minute barrier.

The mountain always has the final say, but we’re ready for the challenge.
